Chocolate Christmas Baubles

Ingredients

Makes 25-30 balls

  • 2 cups finely crushed digestive biscuits (graham crackers)
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 400g tin condensed milk

Suggestions to add in:

  • orange essence
  • caramel centres
  • peppermint essence
  • choc chips
  • hundreds & thousands sprinkles
  • crushed nuts

Method

  1. Put the crushed biscuits into a mixing bowl and add the coconut and cocoa powder. Mix together.
  2. Add the condensed milk and continue mixing until all ingredients are combined.
  3. For different flavour variations, mix in other ingredients now (eg: orange essence) or leave plain for a simple chocolate flavour.
  4. Form the mixture into balls and place them onto a tray. Make the balls any size you like. It’s easier to roll the balls if you dampen your hands slightly.
  5. Place the balls into the fridge to chill for about 30 minutes, then remove and decorate them however you like, or leave them plain.
