Tropical Smoothie

Ingredients
Makes 2 serves
- 1 orange
- 200g pineapple chunks
- 200g mango chunks
- 2 bananas, peeled
- 50-100ml water
Method
- Peel and roughly cut up the orange.
- Add all ingredients to the blender and blitz.
Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

Ingredients
Makes 2 serves
- 200g butternut squash
- 400ml milk
- 1 banana
- half tsp cinnamon
- quarter tsp of powdered ginger
- quarter tsp of nutmeg
- quarter tsp of turmeric
- pinch of pepper
- 1 tsp vanilla paste/extract
Method
- Cut butternut squash into medium-sized chunks and roast in an oven for about 35-45 minutes at 180°c / gas mark 4 / 350°f. Remove from the oven and put into the fridge until chilled.
- Add the chilled squash and 200ml of the milk into the blender and blitz into a smooth paste.
- Add the banana, spices, pepper, vanilla and the rest of the milk and blitz.
